7f. Lean 'n Shuffle ("The drag")

The above is more of a stage move than a social dance move. It is often the exit from the stage.

The hands go up and down and side to side. The upper torso turns side to side. The feet go more or less in a line.

Even though it appears that the lady is being supported by the man, you can see in the photos below that she is pretty well balanced herself. The man adds to the illusion by arching backward.

The shoulder opposite the leg of movement advances (backward for the gent, forward for the lady).

Note the gent's bent knees.
